2001 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual

2001 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual - After few days stop writing in our blog, now we are back. It's quite good vacation that we have ever had. All right, today is still about Hyundai, but this one is for 2001 Hyundai Sonata.

According to edmunds, the Sonata is a thoughtfully designed family sedan that makes for a viable alternative to the more expensive and popular Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. Under the hood of base models is a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 150 horsepower and 156 foot-pounds of torque. Buyers can upgrade to a more powerful V6 or get it standard if they spring for GLS trim. This V6 is an aluminum 2.5-liter DOHC motor making 170 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 167 foot-pounds of torque that peak at 4,000, which means power off the line can be a bit lacking. Sonatas can be ordered with automatic or manual transmissions mated to either engine. Higher in the rev range, the V6 can get clamorous, and the Sonata's automatic transmission can be easily befuddled, causing occasionally hard shifts.

The Sonata offers decent steering feedback, and body roll is kept to a minimum. Road and wind noise are adequately muffled, and the brakes stop the car with confidence. Riding on a front double-wishbone suspension and a rear five-link setup, the Sonata's ride and handling can be characterized as stable, smooth and responsive.

Inside the monochromatic cabin are plush seats, an adequate driving position and a nice-looking dashboard. Drivers will also find well laid-out radio and climate controls, a nifty pen holder and a leather shift knob on the GLS model. The trunk is spacious with an extremely low lift-in height for ease of use, and rear seats on the GLS fold down conveniently in a 60/40 configuration to expand the cargo area.

2000 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual

2000 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual - Hyundai Sonata is one of most wanted sedan in some countries. According to edmunds, Hyundai got a fresh start with last year's well-received, redesigned midsize family sedan. The 1999 Sonata offered all-new and highly attractive sheet metal, increased structural rigidity and reduced noise from outside the cabin. Using a supercomputer analysis, engineers were able to develop a rigid, stronger frame without adding extra weight to the car's body. Riding on a front double-wishbone suspension and a rear five-link setup, the Sonata's ride and handling is stable, smooth and responsive.

Under the hood of base models is a standard 2.4-liter DOHC engine making 149 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. Buyers can upgrade to a more powerful V6 or get it standard if they spring for the GLS trim. This V6 is an aluminum, 2.5-liter DOHC motor making 163 horsepower and 167 pound-feet of torque that peaks at 4,000 rpm, which means power off the line can be a bit lacking. Sonata V6 sometimes has trouble climbing hills and getting up to speed quickly.

Sonatas can be ordered with automatic or manual transmissions mated to either engine. Inside the monochromatic cabin are plush seats, an adequate driving position and a nice-looking dashboard. Drivers will also find a leather shift knob, well-laid out radio and HVAC controls, and a nifty pen holder. The trunk is spacious with an extremely low lift-in height for ease of use and rear seats on the GLS fold down conveniently in a 60/40 configuration to expand the cargo area.

1999 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual

1999 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual - Hello our reader. Thanks for coming back to our blog. Today we provide to you the review and the owners manual of 1999 Hyundai Sonata. Check it out below. Edmunds said that Hyundai is hoping for a fresh start with the 1999 Sonata, its completely redesigned midsize family sedan. And from what we can see, they just might get it. On the outside, Sonata's sheetmetal is all-new and highly attractive for a car that competes in a traditionally conservative segment of the market. One-piece headlamps with integrated turn signals lend a European flavor to the Sonata's front fascia, and a sweeping character line connects the side panels with the trunk.

The Sonata's unibody construction increases structural rigidity and reduces excess noise from outside the cabin. Using a supercomputer analysis, engineers were able to develop a rigid, stronger frame without adding extra weight to the car's body. Riding on a front double wishbone suspension and a rear five-link suspension, the Sonata's ride and handling is stable and smooth this year.

Under the hood of this refined contender is a standard 2.4-liter DOHC engine making 149 horsepower and 156 foot-pounds of torque. Buyers can upgrade to a more powerful, optional Delta V6 or get it standard if they spring for the GLS trim. This new V6 from Hyundai is an aluminum, 2.5-liter DOHC motor that makes 170 horsepower and 166 foot-pounds of torque that peaks at 4,000 rpm, which means power off the line may be lacking for some.

1998 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual

1998 Hyundai Sonata Owners Manual - This time is from Hyundai. Let's go back to 1998. We would share to you the owners manual of the 1998 Hyundai Sonata.  This town is in the wrong state. It should be in Louisiana, where French-speaking people would at least pronounce its name correctly. The folks here call the place "Bell Fountain" or "Bellfontin," stripping the name of any romance.

That's too bad, because this is a neat little town, plopped in the middle of rolling farmland, a bit more than three hours south of Detroit. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, when there was little to do except pray and drive, which appear to be the main pursuits in these parts on workweek's eve. I drove a 1998 Hyundai Sonata GL sedan, a pking-new rental car of which I had modest expectations.

Though discernibly better than any car yet produced by Hyundai, the Sonata sounds a mediocre note, especially in comparison with its rivals -- the Ford Taurus, Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Mazda 626 and Chevrolet Malibu.

What the Sonata has going for it are price and good looks, which is why the car truly is a matter of getting what you pay for -- bargain-basement beauty. Customers willing to accept that reality should be happy with the Sonata. It will take them wherever they want to go in reasonable comfort and safety at reasonable cost and should provide long service, as long its maintenance schedule is observed religiously. Also, the car is ultimately likable, in the manner that an old shirt or an aged yet serviceable pair of tennis shoes is likable.

2007 Bentley Azure Owners Manual

2007 Bentley Azure Owners Manual - Hello man, here we are, back to you with a new thing. This time is comes from Bentley. When a brand as rarefied as Bentley creates an imposing 18-foot-long land mass and gives it room for four, a fold-down roof and a price on par with L.A. real estate, people of means take notice. Although the Bentley Azure convertible was originally designed for old-money, old-world types living in Lake Country chateaus, more than a few Azures have found their way into the hands of West Coast superstars and MTV hip-hop videos. Of the previous-generation Azure, sold from 1995-2003, it's said that fewer than 1,500 were sold.

For 2007, Bentley is reintroducing the Azure. Where it was once based on the old Continental, this time the Azure is related to the current Arnage sedan. Of course, the Arnage isn't exactly the pinnacle of modern design, but Bentley's engineers have done considerable work to make it suitable for topless duty.

The Azure's new structure is dramatically stiffer and promises better road isolation and handling ability. Also updated is the engine. As in other 2007 Bentleys, the 6.8-liter V8 gets a new set of twin turbochargers this year and a 450-horsepower output. Also significant is the move to a six-speed automatic transmission, a welcome upgrade over the old four-speed. Fuel economy, blunted by the car's approximate 3 tons of mass, still barely manages to rise into the double digits, however.

2006 Bentley Azure Owners Manual

2006 Bentley Azure Owners Manual -  Here we back with the review of the 2006 Bentley Azure. The Azure convertible is manufactured in Crewe, England, at the same facility that turns out Bentley's Arnage sedans and special Mulliner editions.

At a dedicated Azure assembly area, about 6,500 spot welds are performed by hand using robotics to locate and clinch all closure panels. Finishing work is done in the Mulliner department, and the use of lightweight carbon-fiber cross braces contributes to the Azure's "exceptional levels of body stiffness," according to the company. The car hits U.S. dealerships in spring 2006.

Bentley says the new model's design was inspired not only by the 1995 - 2002 Azure, but also by the 1955 Park Ward S1 drophead coupe. In addition to borrowing its double-wishbone suspension and rigid body structure from four-door Bentleys, the new two-door Azure shares its front fascia with the current Arnage sedan.

The bumpers are body-colored, and chrome trim runs the length of the car's lower sides. The Azure's three-layer fabric top is hydraulically operated and can stow beneath a hide-trimmed tonneau cover in less than 30 seconds.
